2026 Capitol Tour Details & Arrival Info
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Capitol Tour and wanted to share a few quick details to help things go smoothly.
We suggest that everyone arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour start time to allow time for check-in. Arriving a bit earlier is also welcome and gives you time to check out the Why I Love America diorama display before the tour begins.
Parking & entry:
Please plan to park on the east side of the Capitol and enter through the east doors, located right above the main stairs leading up to the building. Once inside, go up the flight of stairs to Level 2, then turn left and head back toward the Capitol Board Room. Check-in will be located just outside the Capitol Board Room on Level 2.
To make it easier to find your way, below is a map of the Capitol interior on Level 2:
Bringing kids?
We’ll have Capitol Activity Guides available — one for older kids who can read and one for younger children. If your kids fill out their guide and bring it with them to the final tour stop in the Treasurer’s Office, they’ll get to pick up a special treat at the end.
We’re excited to have you join us and can’t wait for a great evening at the Capitol. See you soon!
