How to Become a Delegate

1

Make Sure You're a Registered Republican Voter

To run as a delegate, you must be registered as a Republican. Check your current voter status — or sign up for the first time — using the Utah voter portal below.

Already registered? Double-check that your party is listed as Republican — not unaffiliated or another party. If not, you can update it here.

Pre-Register for Your Caucus

After confirming or registering to vote, complete the pre-registration process. Pre-register with the Utah Republican Party to confirm your attendance. When you complete pre-registration, you'll receive the address of your neighborhood caucus meeting.

Show Up, Run as a Delegate & Vote for Your Kids' Future

Attend your neighborhood caucus on March 17 at 6 PM. Raise your hand and run for State Delegate. If your neighbors elect you, you'll represent your community at the State Convention on April 25 and help choose leaders who respect parents and families.

Tip: When they ask for delegate nominations, raise your hand and volunteer. In many precincts, the hardest part is simply having people willing to run.

Know a Parent Who Should Be There?

The more parents who show up on March 17th, the louder our voice. Share this page with a neighbor, friend, or fellow parent and help us fill every caucus with people who fight for kids.

60%

It Starts at Caucus Night

Delegates chosen on caucus night vote at party conventions. If a candidate receives 60% of those delegate votes, they become the party nominee.
