2025 Parental Rights Champion Awards

Each year, we recognize Utah legislators who sponsored and supported key legislation that strengthens a parent’s ability to direct their child’s education and well-being—ensuring parents remain the primary decision-makers in their children’s lives—at home, at school, and online. 2025 Freshman Legislator Impact Award

This award honors a first-year legislator who hit the ground running and made a meaningful impact. Representative Peck championed key legislation to strengthen parental rights—reforming homeschool affidavits, blocking groups like Planned Parenthood from influencing students, and more—proving that even new voices can lead on critical issues.

Outstanding Bill Sponsor for the 2025 session

This award honors the sponsor of the App Store Accountability Act, a groundbreaking bill requiring app store providers to disclose app content, verify user ages, and obtain parental consent for minors. Senator Weiler stood firm under pressure and successfully passed a bill that strengthens parental oversight in the digital space.

The 100% Club

This award honors legislators who stood with parents every step of the way—voting 100% of the time in support of the key legislation we tracked during the 2025 session. Their consistent support helped advance policies that protect parental rights and give parents more control over their children’s education and well-being.
